We are in the middle of a pandemic that is, if we listen to the popular news sources, unendingly deadly, all the doom and gloom, blah, blah, blah.
I say this not with disrespect to what this virus is doing to our world, nor with blindness to the seriousness of it, but with an eye for the lack of attention to what God is doing in our midst. I want to hear from that voice in the wind. And, I think I have….
Let me explain.
While Americans watch COVID-19 sweep the country, three states seem to stand out from the others; Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. These states have seen the greatest impact from COVID-19 with high infection and spread rates. But what is it like on the front lines in one of these states? How are first responders dealing with the pandemic? I want to explain to you what it is like.

COVID-19 – the term everyone in the world is very intimately familiar with right now. As I’m writing this, I’m sitting here at my kitchen table with my Kindergarten and 1st grade girls who are out of school. I’m trying to keep them occupied while I try and work. Nothing about today’s environment is normal. This is a time of high anxiety, fear of the unknown and worry about ourselves and loved ones. However, we are here for you.
